Welcome to Bristol

Bristol is the largest city in the South West of England, and along with Bath makes up one of the largest tech clusters in the UK. As such accommodation can prove difficult and expensive to find, so we’ve partnered with some nearby venues to aid your attendance at EYE@Bristol.

YHA Bristol

EYE delegates can take advantage of subsidised accommodation combined with the price of registration. For just £70 extra you’ll receive two nights’ Bed & Breakfast accommodation!*

A former grain warehouse on the waterfront of Bristol’s floating harbour, the YHA Bristol has been stylishly renovated and contains a bar and comfortable public areas for relaxing after a long day. The bars and clubs of the harbourside are close by, as are the art and industrial museums Arnolfini and M-Shed. Soak up the sun on the picturesque cobbled quay outside or partake in some street ping-pong, a common sight in Bristol’s public spaces!

*B&B Accommodation is 4-person single-sex dorms

Recommended Hotels

We’ve searched Bristol’s local hotels for great deals should you want somewhere a little more private, or are staying for a few days in Bristol around the conference! All our recommendations are situated in centre of the city or have good public transport links to help get you around.

Mercure Grand Bristol Hotel

The host of our Gala Dinner has recently been extensively refurbished. The Grand Hotel has been the site of an inn or hostelry of some description for hundreds of years, and the new restaurant will prove a glamorous start to the day!

Premier Inn Bristol City Centre (King Street)

Premier Inn is one of the UK’s largest budget hotel chains, popular for their clean (if basic) decor and comfortable beds – they’re so confident in their beds they promise your money back if you don’t sleep well! This hotel is close to bust King Street which makes it ideal for the late-night reveller.
